We are a video creator from Italy and a pianist specialized in historical pianos from Spain. Our project presents an international collaboration between performers to showcase compositions of classical female composers from the XVIII and the XIX performed on original historical instruments by organizing concerts (live and streamed) and video documenting the activities with the result of producing a short documentary for the web.
-Research residency
-Concert in streaming (piano and voice) at the Salon
-Possibility of a concert for the Assotiation Fan d’Erard (http://fanderard.org/)
-Production of a video-documentary
Sophie Boyer is a French mezzo soprano, Oscar A is a French visual artist; together they have opened a Music Salon and Art galery in Saint Etienne, France. The project started recently, when Sophie Boyer was singing at her window during the lockdown and realized that many people who passed by her window were willing to stay and listen. That gave them the input to promote opera, classical music and visual arts in ways that they can reach a larger and heterogeneous audience. The association l’Opéra, pourquoi pas! (Opera, Why not!) has recently acquired an historical Erard grand piano from 1882, that they are using frequently for concerts that they live-stream professionally.
